A while ago I decided the leap from shared hosting to VPS. Shared hosting, has many draw back. The largest is shared hosting places you, throw on a field with hundreds of other sites. When someone something wrong these sites many times of your site crashes or is inaccessible.Running a Drupal Web site I had this many times geschehen.Jemand else would hammer of the MySQL database, and it would make my site don't work.
After much frustration I started looking into VPS solutions. VPS stands for virtual private server. What it means is that it is a server that sell anything. You can set what you want there. Any time I ran into a question, I asked there, and were excited to help. Its amazing how dedicated are Linux users. You want someone from a Windows background to help which surprised me.I had my box setup within a few hours!
Now its a year later and Linode has served me well.After registration and getting my sites set up, never go down.This is so different from shared hosting.On top of that I am able to host, making it my perfekt.Wie for me all my Web sites on a field site gained popularity I simply updated plan, more bandwidth to behandeln.sehr useful & I my downtime had only about 1 minute during the upgrade.
