One of the longest for any new Drupal site is set up and proof of what users can and cannot do.This is the realm of user permissions and role permissions. I'm guessing you've visited the labyrinth of checkbox-as I like to call it.
This is one of the more frustrating aspects of Drupal permissions screen; with any number of roles beyond a few and with a great collection of forms, the task of managing permissions becomes very dangerous. The potential for "accidentally" controlling a little box that gives the wrong role allows the user access and wrong to do things wrong, wonderment managing permissions Drupal can be unnerving.
Enter my solution to this problem.A collection of modules that extend the level of control, make it easier to concentrate on permissions that matter (compared to what you're setting up at the time) and remove the clutter of vision extended from this Web page.
